What we do: People of all levels of expertise share their interests through a varied programme of activities. Beginners are particularly welcome. We hold field meetings throughout spring, summer and autumn, when those taking part can learn about the birds, plants, insects and mammals of local woods, marshes and river valleys. There are coach outings at all times of the year to nature reserves and wildlife habitats and illustrated talks by leading naturalists and wildlife travellers as well as teach-ins on identification of birds and plants.
