Colchester Borough
Council offers a free cardboard and paper collection
to all schools in Colchester. This is available on
return of a letter stating that you would like free
collection, along with a completed annual Duty of
Care form for which there is a £30 charge to cover
administration costs.
If you already have a normal waste
collection with Colchester Borough Council and have
paid the £30 Duty of Care, you do not have to
pay an additional £30.
Paper and card need to be
flat packed, tied in bundles or contained in
plastic bags for collection.
Flat pack the cardboard - it is
very difficult to set alight to once flat-packed.
Waste will be collected every
fortnight - you will be advised of the
collection date when you join the scheme.
