Essex Wildlife Trust Wildlife and Biodiversity

The GLOBE Programme GLOBE is an international environmental education project for children. They collect information about their local environment and share it with the world via the database on the Internet. To date 109 countries are involved in GLOBE and over 500 UK schools, clubs and centres. The data collected by GLOBE students is used by environmental scientists in their research so the children must follow a strict set of scientific protocols to maintain the validity of the data.
