Planned Recycling Initiatives

The following page lists some groups proposed recycling initiatives and potential partnerships.

Paint Recycling	en-form Essex County Council Bright Ideas Scrapstore	This partnership is looking to set up a Re>paint (paint re-use scheme) throughout Essex. Ultimate aim is to have one centre in each Essex District. Currently working on setting up pilot scheme in Colchester & Tendring. Wood Recycling	en-form Bright Ideas Scrapstore Red House Centre (potential Matrix & tendring furniture scheme)	En-form have done some work on setting up a wood recycling project similar to that in Brighton. Bright Ideas would like to offer wood to schools and Red house have thought of doing similar scheme and have labour resource. Development stage.
Plastic Recycling	en-form BBB Recycling Colchester Borough Council Remade (Essex) Homestead School	Project plan formulated applying for funding.
Computer Recycling	Both Bright Ideas Scrapstore and Matrix are looking to set up an IT refurbishment project.
Tendring Re-use Partnership	BBB Recycling Essex County Council APU Bits and Bobs Tendring District Council Tendring Furniture Project en-form	Looking to set up a Clacton Recycling Centre. Project in development stage.
Colchester Community Recycling Network	Colchester Borough Council en-form Matrix Shake Bright Ideas Scrapstore Emmaus Tiptree Resource Centre Re-Cycle	Network up and running to support and share best practices. Partners have differing aims.
