Community Re>Paint in Essex

Community Re>paint is a national scheme co-ordinated by the environmental group Save Waste and Prosper (swap).

There are 90 schemes operating throughout the UK and Essex has the following four schemes:

Harlow - this is operated by Harlow Rainbows and was the first scheme to be set up in Essex.
East Essex - Covers Maldon, Burnham on Crouch and South Woodham Ferrers - this is operated by the Turnabout Trust and opened in September 2004.
Colchester - this was set up by by en-form - The Colchester Environment Centre in October 2004 and is operated in partnership with the Bright Ideas Scrapstore.
Tendring - this is currently being set up by en-form - The Colchester Environment Centre and is due to open in December 2004. It will be operated in partnership with Tendring Reuse Employment Enterprise.
