In Colchester the borough council has set up a special ' Warm Homes Project Team' (in partnership with North East Essex Health Authority, Colchester Primary Care Trust and Essex Rivers Trust) to advise customers on this scheme and other energy efficient measures.

Who Qualifies?

• Anybody receiving an income or disability related benefit.

• Anybody living in a county in eastern England.

There are no age restrictions and it doesn't matter if you own or rent your property.

What do you get?

• If you qualify you may receive free insulation and free heating improvements which will save you money.

• If you are also over 60 you may even receive free central heating.
